Neal Hatley

First Team Coach

Neal Hatley joined the Club in 2012 as a First Team Coach, focusing on the scrum and contact area.

During a playing career that spanned 17 years, Neal represented Western Province and Natal, winning the prestigious Currie Cup with the Sharks in 1992. He linked up with London Irish in 1996 and played over 250 games for the London club, going on to represent and captain the England Saxons. 

Prior to joining Bath he was the London Irish Academy Manager and Scrum Coach. As well as heading up the contact area and scrum at Bath Rugby this season Neal has taken on the responsibility of heading up the defence for the 2014/15 season.
