Role:
1st Team Coach - Forwards
Martin Haag returned to Bath Rugby as Forwards Coach in July 2009. He comes back to the club having already served as a player, Academy Coach and Team Manager for Bath.
'Haagy', as he is best known at the club, has enjoyed a successful career in rugby that has spanned from 1987 when he first joined the West Country side, helping Bath Rugby win their only Heineken Cup title so far. He became the Academy Coach in 2001, but in 2003 left for Bristol where he was First Team Coach before once again rejoining as Bath's Academy Coach and Team Manager, until the summer of 2008.
It was from here that the Level 4 qualified coach was called up to work with England U18s on their tour to Argentina and the National Academy, taking them to the IRB Junior World Championship Final.
Father of two and a keen golfer, Haagy has been welcomed back to The Rec and is set to make the coaching trio an even greater success.
