Lock Tom Ellis joined Bath Rugby Academy for the 2013/14 season.

This year has already been a successful one for the 18-year-old; not only did he complete his A-levels at Millfield, but he was also a member of the England U18s squad which was crowned champions of Europe in March 2013.

Four months later, Ellis was selected in the squad to tour South Africa, where they took on the host nation, as well as France and Wales.

Following in the footsteps of some of his illustrious sporting relatives (uncle Brian Roberts threw the javelin for Great Britain), Ellis has won representative honours in the 800 metres, shot putt, high jump and basketball.
