The Bath Rugby Academy has developed a strong history of developing home grown talent with a number of academy graduates now involved with the Club's first team squad.
The role of the Bath Rugby Academy is to identify and develop talented young athletes from age 13 to 23 and engage them in an Elite High Performance development programme. Players join the academy through a variety of routes and are assisted in their rugby development to attain their ultimate goal - joining the first team squad. This is underpinned by Education from a variety of sources, thus providing the necessary structure for each player to reach their full potential
Since February 2002 and the introduction of the RFU's Regional Academy programme, Bath Rugby Academy has developed a number of high quality young players from our designated region.
At Farleigh House we have outstanding facilities for the delivery of an elite player development programme with weights gym, physiotherapy rooms, rubber crumb training area, analysis rooms and two high quality training pitches.
