With a nod to the gun-slinging days of old, here in the West Country we've put together our very own Magnificent 7 who will be in action come the Final showdown of the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby 7s on Friday night at the Recreation Ground.
In his role as scrum-half, Paul Hodgson (Worcester Warriors) has license to roam, going wherever the action takes him. Hodgson is feisty, combative and won't go down without a fight.
The Hot Stepper
Charlie Walker (Harlequins) is blessed with speed, agility, and a party trick sidestep designed to fool defenders. Having represented England 7s at just 18, big things are expected from this prodigious young talent.
The Sharp Shooter
Nils Mordt (Saracens) has one of the biggest boots in the tournament. An experienced head in the Saracens team, he leads by example and keeps the opposition pinned back with his big and accurate kicking game.
The Quick Draw
Quick off the mark and with an eye for a target, Martyn Thomas (Gloucester Rugby) is a huge threat to the opposition, skilled with both ball in hand and from the boot.
Strong, hard-hitting and with pinpoint accuracy in the tackle, Richard de Carpentier (Worcester Warriors) leads his Warriors from the front. Using all the experience from his days as England 7s captain, he stormed Round One, taking Worcester through to the Final unbeaten.
No side is complete without a rookie, and Tahir El Mahdi (Leicester Tigers) forces his way into this one. An unknown, but with heaps of talent, this youngster is well worth a watch. He can also sing a bit!
Every 7s side needs an enforcer, someone who can do the grunt work, make the hard yards, and soak up defenders. Auckland born back-row Richard Mayhew, standing at 6' 3" and 17st 4lb fits the bill perfectly.
