Anthony Watson will fly out to Auckland this evening as one of 16 additions to the England squad to tour New Zealand.
The 20-year-old, who has covered wing and fullback for Bath Rugby this season, joins Club teammates Dave Attwood, Rob Webber and Davey Wilson in Stuart Lancaster’s touring party.
England embark on a three-test tour against the number one side in world rugby on three consecutive weekends, beginning this Saturday in Eden Park. They will play one midweek match against Super Rugby’s Crusaders on June 17.
Meanwhile, Paul James and Francois Louw will likely face each other on the international stage this month, with Wales travelling to South Africa for a two-test series on 14th and 21st June.
Like England, Wales will participate in one non-international fixture, against Eastern Province Kings on 10th June.
