Strong Bath Rugby squad ready to face the rivals

Bath Rugby have named a strong squad for their monster pre-season derby day clash with local rivals Bristol Rugby at the Recreation Ground tomorrow, kick-off 15.00

With the ultimate local rivalry being ignited once more, the 'friendly' nature of the pre-season fixture seems not to fit. The magnitude of this rivalry is lost on neither the players nor the supporters, and the stakes are as high as ever.

All players who are available for selection will feature at some point in the game, with a team being named for each half.

The squad features eight new faces, all of whom will be making their home debuts in the Blue, Black and White.

New boys Anthony Watson, Martin Roberts, David Sisi and Alafoti Fa'osiliva will all start the match, while in the second-half Australian powerhouse Leroy Houston and former IRB Junior Player of the Year George Ford will get their first experience of the Rec.

There is still time to purchase the last few remaining tickets, so why not join us what is sure to be anything but a friendly. Call 0844 448 1865 or pop into the Ticket Office on Pulteney Bridge to reserve your place now.
