Semesa Rokoduguni wins October Gatorade Game Changer Award

Congratulations to Semesa Rokoduguni, who has won the Gatorade Game Changer Award for October for his performance on the wing against Sale Sharks at the AJ Bell Stadium. The Game Changer Award rewards the player responsible for the most effective single performance each month according to Opta statistics.

During the match, Semesa covered 106 metres, registered an impressive 13 carries and beat three defenders in a try scoring run, beating nine defenders during the match as a whole.

Director of Rugby, Gary Gold said: "I'm not surprised that Semesa has been given the October Gatorade Game Changer Award. He has the ability to take on the strongest defence and certainly showed how devastating he can be in attack against Sale Sharks."

On being presented with the Award by Gatorade, an Official Performance Partner to Premiership Rugby, Rokoduguni said: "It's great to be recognised as the October Gatorade Gamechanger. You try to perform at your best each match and you can only do that with a quality team."

Each of the monthly Gatorade Game Changer winners will be competing for the Gatorade Game Changer of the Season Award in May 2014. Last season's big prize was won by Harlequins' Ollie Lindsay Hague.
