Josh Ovens and Ben Williams are the latest players to extend their stay with Bath Rugby.
Both have come through the Bath Rugby Academy and stepped up to the challenge for regular first team slots.
Back row Josh is a powerful young player who has made over20 appearances for the Club so far. He has spent much of this season on loan to Bristol Rugby to ensure he got plenty of game time and has really impressed both in the Championship with Bristol, and for Bath when he has been called back.
Josh said: "I'm pleased to extend my contract with Bath. This is my home club and playing for them has always been my ambition and a great privilege. I've also enjoyed my time at Bristol this season as it has helped my game development enormously and I'd like to thank them for the support they've all given me."
A big, powerful ball carrier who can play at either inside or outside centre, Ben made his debut for the first XV against Saracens in the LV= Cup in 2009, with his Premiership debut coming two weeks later against Worcester Warriors. He has made 20 appearances since, scoring four tries in the process.
On renewing his contract, Ben said: "I'm very happy to have signed for another year with Bath. The set-up here is great and the squad is really coming together. I love playing for the Club, and am looking forward to working hard to compete for a place in the matchday squad."
Sir Ian McGeechan, Director of Rugby, added: "Both Josh and Ben are very talented young players, who we are keen to see develop further with the Club. They work hard and are eager to learn. Ben had a great start to the season before he was unfortunately injured and Josh has been building up his playing experience with Bristol, so we're delighted they've agreed to stay."
