Bath Rugby trio to start first Test

Bath Rugby trio Rob Webber, David Wilson and Dave Attwood have all been named in Stuart Lancaster's England side to face Argentina this Saturday, at the Estadio Padre Ernesto Martearena in Salta, kick-off 20.10 BST.

This match is the first time that hooker Webber, and second row Attwood will start a capped international match, with Prop Wilson adding to his 26 caps.

Kyle Eastmond is also in the frame to make his debut test appearance after being named amongst the replacements along with Billy Vunipola (London Wasps) and Henry Thomas (Sale Sharks). There is also good news for new signing Jonathan Joseph who has been handed the number 13 shirt.

London Wasps wing Christian Wade, 21, and Worcester Warriors flanker Matt Kvesic, 22, will make their debuts against the Pumas.

Head Coach Stuart Lancaster said: "It's always a great pleasure to award someone their first caps and Christian and Matt, as well as the three uncapped players on the bench, deserve their chance against the Pumas because of their form and hard work this season for their clubs and with us.

"This is a young England side but one with a great deal of ability and self-belief that has bonded well in the time we've been together at home and in Uruguay and Argentina.

"Facing Argentina in front of their home crowd in Salta will be a challenge but I'm sure it's one this team will relish."
