Attwood: “Every game seems to count more and more”

Looking ahead to Saturday's huge West Country derby against Gloucester Rugby, Bath Rugby second row Dave Attwood says the team must adopt the right mindset if they are to emerge victorious.

"We had a couple of unsatisfactory results, and it was important to establish some momentum again with the run in to the end of the season," says the England international, who believes making the Amlin Challenge Cup Semi-Finals with victory over Brive on Sunday has put Bath back on track. "There's an awful lot to play for; every game seems to count more and more, so being in the right place mentally this weekend is going to make a big difference."

"At Kingsholm, Gloucester will be a very difficult team to beat. They've got tremendous players throughout the squad who can turn a game around, so we've got to be really wary that when those guys get fired up, we've got to match that."

You can hear more from Attwood on BRtv when the team to play Gloucester is released at midday on Friday.
