Bath United side named to face Saracens Storm

Bath United have named some familiar faces in their squad to face Saracens Storm in the Aviva A League clash at Allianz Park this evening, kick-off 19.30.

Nick Abendanon, Horacio Agulla, Ryan Caldwell and Richard Lane all make their first appearances for United this season, with Charlie Beech also returning.

Caldwell partners Will Spencer in the second row, with captain Kane Palma-Newport scrumming down at tighthead alongside hooker Tom Dunn and loosehead Beech.

The back row sees Mat Gilbert named at openside, alongside the Academy duo of Tom Ellis and Will Skuse at blindside and number eight respectively. In the half-backs, Chris Cook joins playmaker Gavin Henson who starts at fly-half.

Ollie Devoto moves from fullback to inside centre, where he combines with the experience of Agulla at 13. Wingers Tom Biggs and Rich Lane flank fullback Nick Abendanon, who returned from injury against Newport Gwent Dragons two weeks ago.

United currently sit top of the Southern Conference of the Aviva A League, and a win would guarantee them a place in the next round of the competition.
