Bath Rugby 26 v 28 Saracens

10 September 2011, KO 15:15

Recreation Ground
AVIVA Premiership

9 September 2011, 12:00pm

“It’s a big test for us and one we are looking forward to”

Bath Rugby have made just one change to the side to face the reigning Aviva Premiership Rugby Champions, Saracens, at the Recreation Ground tomorrow, kick-off 3.15pm.

Dave Attwood will make his first start in a Bath jersey, partnering Ryan Caldwell in the locks, with Will Spencer taking his place on the bench.

Following on from the opening round victory away to Newcastle, First Team Coach Martin Haag knows that tomorrow's game holds a big challenge for Bath, but it is one they are looking forward to.

"We're preparing for Saracens this week in the same way that we prepared for Newcastle last week, but we know it's going to be a sterner test. They are the present champions and have competed brilliantly with Leicester over the last two years. It's a big test for us and one we are looking forward to.

"It's our first game in front of our home crowd. I expect the crowd to be in good voice and confident, and we'll be the same.  We've got a chance to play one of the teams that turned us over at home last season and we need to make sure we do a job and come away with a win."
