Community Coaches visit Ditcheat and Upton Noble Primary Schools

The Bath Rugby Community coaches were out in force yesterday afternoon coaching tag rugby at both Ditcheat Primary and Upton Noble Primary schools.

The tag rugby sessions which are part of the Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme were carried out by Jimmy Deane and Stephen Barber.  The delivery is disciplined but at the same time fun for the kids.  Jimmy organised Tag Bulldogs at Ditcheat and had the boys racing against the girls. On speaking with the children afterwards they commented: “I really like the tags and it is fun running and chasing the boys!”

The session was a great opportunity for the children to implement their newly-acquired skills in an engaging and fun environment.

Next week there will be visits to St Cuthberts, Horrington and St Aldhelms.
