Bath Rugby delivers tag to St Benedicts Primary School

Stephen Barber, Bath Rugby Community coach was at St Benedicts school in Midsomer Norton today where he delivered a session of ‘School of Tag’.  Though it was cold and drizzly they enjoyed being shown how to use the tag belts and the rules of the game.

The “School of Tag” programme has been launched in conjunction with the Bath & North East Somerset School Sport Partnership to deliver five weeks of tag rugby coaching into local primary and junior schools in the B&NES area. All participating children, and their families will also be given the opportunity to attend a Bath Rugby match at the Rec and the children will have the opportunity to take part in a half-time pitch parade.

Other schools currently receiving Bath Rugby’s “School of Tag” coaching programme include:

 Bathford Primary

Bathampton Primary

Midsomer Norton Primary

Shoscombe Primary
