This season the Bath Rugby Foundation continue to deliver a well-recognised Inclusion Project in the South West. Focusing on children on the SEN (Special Educational Needs) register in mainstream and special schools, the project encourages participation in physical activity at any level, ensuring sessions are adapted to cater for all abilities whilst being fun and challenging.
Monday night is fun night, with our Inclusive After School Club run as a community club in conjunction with BaNES Sport and Active Lifestyle at Bath Sports Centre from 4 – 5pm for 7 to 18 year olds. The club offers a variety of sports from cricket to swimming and this year sees an addition to the staffing. Herman Miller have partnered up with the Foundation to support the Inclusion programme as well as the Girls Development Squad and the Business Enterprise Programme. The support for the Foundation is not only from the top, but Herman Miller staff volunteer on a weekly basis at the Monday night club. So far, the link between Herman Miller and the charity has been a great success, here is a photo of the “gang” from the Monday night club.
