Community troops head to Warminster

The Bath Rugby Community Team continued their close association with the British Army earlier this month, with a two day skills camp at the Army Land Warfare Centre, Warminster.

The camp is an annual event for the children of serving soldiers and was very well attended with over 100 girls/boys aged 6-16 having a great time.

Throughout the two days the children enjoyed coaching sessions from the Bath Rugby Community Team as well as games and attractions from the Army which included an inflatable obstacle course, paintball and a camouflaged ice cream van, which took a while to find!

A massive thank you goes out to all the children who attended and made it a fantastic camp and in particular to Darren Hinchliffe, Garrison Regimental Sergeant Major, who once again worked tirelessly in organising the camp and ensured its smooth running.
