A day to remember for Bath Rugby Community teams

Bratton and Chapmanslade Primary Schools enjoyed an amazing day out representing Bath Rugby, at the Aviva Premiership Final at Twickenham.

Bratton took to the pitch pre-match having been part of the MBNA Tackling Numbers Programme this year. The children put on a fantastic display of running rugby, scored numerous tries and had, without doubt, the nosiest support on the day!

Chapmanslade had a little longer to wait before their appearance on the Twickenham turf as they took part in the Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme half-time tag showpiece event. The children took to the pitch full of enthusiasm and like Bratton before put on a wonderful display of tag rugby and worked incredibly hard as a team.

Half-time also saw Bath RFC U11 and Chippenham RFC U12 taking part in a perimeter pitch parade as winners of the Landrover Premiership Rugby Cup. Both clubs had the once in a lifetime opportunity to show off their hard earned silverware to a sell out Twickenham crowd.

The Bath Rugby Community Team were also heavily involved in the action throughout the day, coordinating pitch activities with Premiership Rugby. If the pre-match and half-time tag displays were not exciting enough, the Community Team were privileged to run an Aviva VIP coaching session for 30 children, coaching alongside England legend, Will Greenwood.

Well done to everyone who attended, you made it a truly unforgettable day!
