The Bath Rugby Foundation has embarked on its biggest ever fundraising challenge and you can be a part of it.
We have three cycling events taking place in June 2013.
1. John O'Groats – Land's End (960 miles averaging just over 106 miles per day from the 8 – 16 June).
2. Bath – Land's End (226 miles on the 15 – 16 June).
3. Ludlow – Bath (93 miles on Friday 14 June).
We only have 15 places available on the full route, 20 on the Bath – Land's End weekend ride and 16 on the one day cycle from Ludlow to Bath.
We've teamed up with Threshold Sports who organise the annual 'Deloitte Ride Across Britain' challenge. In fact their organisation is so good; the only thing you need to do is... pedal and they'll take care of the rest.
Join former players Lewis Moody, Danny Grewcock, David Flatman and Andy Beattie for one of the most memorable experiences you'll have in your life. Former Bath winger and current President of Bath Rugby David Trick is also taking on the full challenge and would welcome the company of anyone who is perhaps a little more advanced in years (he's 52 and happy to cycle at a steady pace throughout!).
If you feel the full distance is either too ambitious or you'll have difficulty justifying the time off work; then please consider either the one or two day option, you'll still get the opportunity to ride with the former players mentioned as well as a few current players who are also supporting the fundraising event.
If you're still reading and would like to find out additional information please email David Trick.... These challenges are open to males and females.
