French trip to start Amlin Challenge Cup campaign

A good old-fashioned Anglo French battle will kick-off this season's Amlin Challenge Cup campaign for Bath Rugby with a visit to Bordeaux-Begles on Saturday 12th October (KO 21.00 local time).

Returning to the Rec for the second European fixture of the year, Bath host Newport Gwent Dragons to renew another age old rivalry on Saturday 19th October, KO 15.00.

A double-header against the Italians Rugby Mogliano form the Christmas fixtures, first with a trip to northern Italy on Saturday 7th December, before welcoming them to the Rec a week later.

The kick-off dates and times for the final two pool stages - away to Newport and at home to Bordeaux-Begles - will be announced shortly after the culmination of Round Four.
