Ford: “Saturday feels like a Cup final”

After a closely fought encounter against Northampton Saints last Friday night, our play-off hopes are still alive, but with just three points separating us and fifth placed Harlequins, it's winner takes all this Saturday at the Stoop.

"I'm very proud of the way the players performed on Friday night. Sometimes the scoreboard doesn't quite work for you, but I'm really delighted we showed we're more than capable of performing against one of the top two sides.

"We feel it was the perfect preparation going into our next game, which now feels like a cup final. Quins away is an exciting challenge and one we are very much looking forward to. We believe we are a top four side, and we aim to prove that on Saturday.

"I've been particularly pleased with the attitude and leadership shown by the team in recent weeks. We'll prepare ourselves in the best way possible and make sure we come out all guns blazing come kick-off.

"The travelling support at the Amlin Semi-Final against Wasps was amazing, and we know that we can count on the same support again this weekend. Hopefully we'll all have something to cheer about when the final whistle goes!"

The Stoop is completely sold-out for the game this weekend, but you can still watch the game on BT Sport. The Premier Lounge at the Recreation Ground will be open from 14.00 to broadcast the game, so come and watch in the company of fellow Bath supporters!

For those with tickets, Harlequins have advised that extra time should be allowed for all journeys due to the HSBC World 7s series happening at Twickenham on the same day.
