The Bath Rugby Foundation are holding a Superstars Challenge on Saturday December 8th at the Bath Sports Centre from 9:00am – 11:30am. Similar to that of the 70’s televised version, local teams and local sporting stars will compete across 10 tough sporting disciplines.
We have 11 teams and 11 local sports stars to include Amy Williams, a handful of England Netball players and many of the Bath Rugby legends such as David Trick, Danny Grewcock and David Flatman! We also have a number of enthusiastic local schools on board that are attending the event in order to cheer for their allocated team and Superstar.
The challenges with consist of 10 gruelling disciplines such as a 5000m cycle, 500m row, the 20m tyre pull, the crucifix tyre hold and many more!
The Foundation Superstars Challenge engages all members of the local community to include businesses, sports stars, schools and any passing spectators! The funds raised from this event will go towards the delivery of a Disability Inclusion project to take place in Spring 2013.
Come along to support your local teams and Superstars!
