Bath Rugby is pleased to announce that it is extending its contract with CircleBath, taking the partnership between the Club and the region’s leading hospital into its fourth year.
Richard Mack, Head of Sports Medicine at Bath Rugby, said he was delighted to be continuing the relationship with the hospital: “The nature of professional sport is that access to top-class medical facilities is time critical, and our partnership with CircleBath allows for expediency in this regard. Their thorough work and great service allows us to make informed decisions on the treatment of our players.”
In addition to using the Radiology department for all imaging needs, the players also enjoy access to the expertise of CircleBath’s world-class consultants – including Dr Julian Widdowson, who is both Lead Practitioner for Sports Medicine for the hospital and a Consultant at the Club.
It’s not only the players who benefit, however: Bath Rugby is a member of Circle’s Associate Programme, which allows the Club’s medical staff to participate in Continued Professional Development courses and lectures run by the hospital.
