With less than a week to go until the Aviva Premiership Final at Twickenham, two schools and two rugby clubs are excitedly preparing for their big day out at Headquarters.
Bratton and Chapmanslade Primary schools will be representing Bath Rugby at Twickenham, both schools having taken part in Premiership Rugby programmes delivered by the Bath Rugby Community Team. Bratton Primary take to the hallowed turf prior to the final, participating in the MBNA Tackling Numbers tag display, while Chapmanslade Primary will take part in the Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme showpiece event during half-time.
Having enjoyed five weeks of tag rugby fun and games, the children get to show off their new-found skills in front of 80,000 people which, although slightly terrifying, willcertainly be thrilling and an experience they will never forget.
Taking part in a half-time perimeter pitch parade will be Bath Mini's U11 and Chippenham RFC U12, who were winners of this year's Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup. If winning the cup wasn't enough, they now get the chance to show off their silverware to a sell-out crowd.
Good luck to the schools and clubs, who will no doubt do Bath Rugby proud!
The Bath Rugby Community Team will also be in action at Twickenham, working alongside Premiership Rugby in co-ordinating community events on and off the pitch throughout the day. This will involve an Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools VIP coaching session, pre-match and half-time tag rugby displays and a half-time perimeter pitch parade for winners of the Landrover Premiership Cup. A very busy but exciting day for all!
