At the Rec this weekend

This Saturday we welcome back our local rivals Exeter Chiefs to the Rec for an epic Aviva Premiership clash, kick-off 15.15.

Gates will open at 13.15 and you can soak up the pre-match atmosphere in the Swift Half where there will be a happy hour until 14.15 with pints of Thatchers and Wadworths 6X just £2.50 per pint. As always, there will be some familiar faces behind the bar with Kane Palma-Newport and Eusebio Guinazu on hand to serve you from 14.40 to 15.10.

Don’t forget to pick up one of our new Bath Rugby pint glasses too. Available to buy from any of the bars for just £1!

For our younger supporters, we are once again offering the chance to be part of the matchday guard of honour.

If you're aged 6-15, simply visit the Challenge Area on the outfield before 14.45 and register your name. The first 40 children to do so will get to take to the pitch along with their heroes as they run out in front of a packed Rec.

And whilst you’re over there, why not have a go at this week’s Children’s Challenge? Can you hula-hoop for as long as Dave Attwood? The target to beat is 18 seconds and the winner on the day will receive a signed team poster.

The notorious BT Sport Smash-o-meter is also in town, so if you fancy the challenge, visit the outfield prior to kick-off. The two top supporters from Bath and Exeter will then go head to head at half-time for the title of ‘Biggest Hit in the West’. The Jaffa zorbs are also returning for more half-time madness!

After the game, make sure you join us in the Swift Half where you can enjoy some music from Jukebox Live whilst discussing all the goings-on of the day with fellow supporters and members of the Bath Rugby squad.

If all that wasn’t enough, post-match, Thatchers are offering a penny off every pint for every point Bath score and this offer will be available at all bars!

There are now just a handful of tickets remaining for the game so phone 0844 448 1865 or call into the Ticket Office on Pulteney Bridge if you don’t want to miss out!

Due to the Bath Christmas Market, please allow extra time when making your journey to the game this weekend. First Great Western are running additional train services into Bath on both Saturday November 30th and Saturday November 14th to help ease any congestion. For the full timetable, please visit the First Great Western Website.
