At the Rec this weekend

This Saturday, we welcome Leicester Tigers to the Rec for our opening home Aviva Premiership fixture, kick-off 15.15.

There are still some tickets available but you'll need to move quickly to avoid disappointment!

Our encounters with Leicester have always been hotly contested, with some epic rugby having been played over the years. This match, however, will have a little extra spice, as it will be the 100th anniversary of this classic fixture.

In honour of this special Centenary encounter, there will be a commemorative matchday programme featuring interviews with players past and present and it will delve into the history archives, looking at some of the stand-out meetings between the two teams over the years.

As you soak-up the pre-match atmosphere, Bath Rugby legends Lee Mears and David Flatman will be holding a pre-match Q&A in the Swift Half marquee, located on the outfield between 14.30 and 15.00. Everyone is welcome, so make sure you come along.

At half-time, something very different is coming your way. Danny Grewcock and David Flatman will take to the pitch in the ultimate battle of the big orange zorbs! Thanks to our friends at Jaffa Fruit, supporters will, at selected home games this season, have the opportunity to race each other and attempt to beat the times set by Grewcock and Flatman this Saturday.

After the game, make sure you join us in the Swift Half where you can enjoy some live music whilst discussing all the goings-on of the day with fellow supporters and members of the Bath Rugby squad. The Bath front row will join you for a pint and a debrief, so have your questions ready!

Plus, throughout the day look out for our new Junior Membership Leader, Maximus as he patrols the ground on the look out for new members. He might even dish out one or two half-time oranges!

It's not too late to book your seats and be part of the Centenary celebrations, but hurry as only a few tickets remain! Call 0844 448 1865 or visit the Ticket Office on Pulteney Bridge.
