Bath United name team to face British Army

Bath United will field a strong side against the British Army this evening at the Rec, k.o. 19.30.

The Army will provide one of the sternest tests of the season for United as the visitors play their final match tonight before taking on the Royal Navy next weekend at Twickenham.

In the front row, Beno Obano makes his United debut at loosehead, with Tom Dunn at hooker and Captain Kane Palma-Newport at tighthead.

Ryan Caldwell and Jake Oldaker are the driving force at second row, with Tom Ellis, Alafoti Fa'osiliva and Mat Gilbert at six, seven and eight respectively.

A Wales-Scotland international pairing starts at halfback in the form of Martin Roberts and Tom Heathcote.

Newcomer George Wacokecoke will seek to shine on the left wing, opposite Olly Woodburn at 14, with Rich Lane continuing at fullback.

An extremely talented Bath United midfield sees LV= Breakthrough Player of the Year Ollie Devoto return at 12, with Max Clarke at 13.

United are out to notch up their seventh victory in eight matches this season.
