Community: Playing for Success
Homepage
“Playing for Success is at the very heart of Premier Rugby's award winning community programmes. Community intervention at the twelve professional clubs has hit an all time high, with partnerships across the public and private sectors. Playing for Success is a central part of this, with ground owning clubs committing dedicated resources to the programme and using it as a mainstay of their community involvement. PfS is a great example of how professional rugby’s community involvement has grown and become more sophisticated as the sport has developed. Every ground-owning club has a dedicated PfS resource at its ground, with most of those centres central to the delivery of their award winning community programmes. Bath Rugby, Newcastle Falcons and Saracens have all won the annual Corporate Citizenship awards that show the importance of PfS centres.”
