The Guildhall in Bath was transformed last night into a little corner of Hollywood as the Bath Rugby Community Foundation held an 'Oscars' night to recognise the achievement of participants in their projects.

On Sunday 7th March over 640 children descended on to Chippenham RFC's ground for the Bath Rugby round of the Land Rover Cup. It was a very exciting and busy day full of highs and lows. The Rugby action on the field was a very high standard with lots of teams winning or losing their games in the dying seconds.

Hoping to emulate and meet their Bath Rugby heroes, aspiring young rugby stars will battle it out on the pitches of Chippenham RFC in order to claim the Land Rover Cup and set off on the road to Twickenham.

This morning 640 children were waiting with baited breath to see who they would be facing on the road to Land Rover Cup glory.The waiting is now over! Michael Claassens did the honours and drew the teams for the event to be held at Chippenham RFC on Sunday 7th March.
