Combination Clubs

Combination Clubs

The Bath Rugby Combination Clubs initiative involves at least two players linked to each of the clubs within the local area providing coaching sessions, appearances and advice throughout the 2014/15 season.

The Club wishes to not only forge stronger ties with rugby teams in the surrounding area, but also to show young players how to improve themselves through the sport.

Where possible, the Club would like to pass on its expert knowledge in all areas of the sport to local clubs, including in matters of player welfare. Key in this field has been Club physiotherapist Jane West, who has been championing the recognition of Concussion in the game.

Bath Rugby Chief Executive Nick Blofeld says: "The Combination Clubs initiative deepens the players' appreciation of the surrounding rugby clubs that feed into our organisation. We're hoping it will serve to inspire the next generation of Bath Rugby players."

While the local clubs involved in the initiative benefit from Bath Rugby's expertise, they can also enjoy great ticket offers exclusive to Combination Clubs.
