A new exciting project, the Sitec-Sportsmatch Inclusion project is up and away. The project involves key stage 3 & 4 in special schools and with children on the Special Educational Needs register in mainstream schools.

The project supports the '5 hour offer' to provide multi-sport coaching sessions during curriculum time. At the end of the school year, the project will culminate in a large Inclusive Festival, involving all children involved in the project. Additionally there will be a 3 day holiday camp provided for the children.

The project also aims to develop 10 new aspiring coaches on a bursary scheme, offering an opportunity to gain coaching qualifications as well as "hands on experience" working closely with a mentor .
