Packer will be joined by five of her Bath Ladies team-mates in the 26-player squad set to face Wales, USA and Canada in London this summer. Nicola Hoole, Natasha Hunt, Sarah Graham, Davinia Monteiro and Alex Cook, who have all played for the successful Bath Ladies team, will be hoping to make their mark on the competition which will include talented rugby players from around the world.

England U20s Head Coach Giselle Mather said: “Marlie Packer is our squad captain. She’s a very passionate player and I am sure she will lead from the front. She got a lot of responsibility this year but I know she’ll do an excellent job.”

The U20s Nations Cup will be held at Brunel University from July 9th-18th.
