| Redman’s career spanned the amateur and professional eras. The lock made his debut for Bath in 1983, and by the time he donned the blue, black and white shirt for the last time, in the 1998/99 season, he had made 349 appearances for the club. During that time he also picked up 20 caps for England, and four for the British and Irish Lions.
