Chas Williamson
Worcester overrun by U19s
26 September 2006, 10:52 am
Match report by Hilary Weale
Last Saturday, Bath Academy U19s team played their first match of the season and were far too strong for a very committed Worcester U19 Youth side.
Both teams ran the ball at every opportunity and a lot of top-quality skills were shown by both sides. Just after half-time the whole Worcester team handled the ball from their own line to score a great length-of-the-field try.

Not to be outdone, soon after Bath centre Jack Cuthbert broke from his own line and ran the length of the pitch, beating several defenders to score under the posts. The match was very well controlled by a young referee, who kept it flowing.

Final score: 5-73 (half-time 0-33)

Scores for Bath: Tries Louis Messer 2, Alex Carlton-Porter 2, Jamie Doubleday 2, Scott Simmons, Jack Cuthbert, Charlie Perry, Billy Moss, James Tarlton
Cons: Scott Simmons 4, Charlie Perry 3, Lee Audis 2.

This Saturday 30th September Bath Academy U19s will play Leicester Tigers Academy U19s at the University of Bath with a 3.00pm kick-off.
