| We are extremely frustrated over the continuing delay and naturally hope the legal issues can be clarified very soon. The lack of certainty for the Club has serious repercussions for the long term planning we need to undertake to support the business, the playing squad and their career development with Bath.
As with any commercial operation we have contingency plans, which mean that we are actively looking at alternative options should the delays continue or should our underlying requirements not be met. The outline plans for development of the Rec are therefore still on hold whilst we await the detailed response, not only on our occupancy but also on the vital aspects of incorporating significant commercial partnerships within a viable length of lease and giving us adequate space to develop as well as sufficient control to meet our security and safety concerns.
