Bath Rugby’s Chief Executive, Bob Calleja, outlined Bath Rugby’s vision for the Recreation Ground to the Bath Chronicle this week. The Club’s aim is to develop the existing facilities by extending the Hampton’s Stand into a horseshoe arrangement with a new dismountable stand on the east side of the pitch. This scheme would not only provide the city with a stadium able to hold 15,000 spectators but would also maximize the potential use of the Recreation Ground by a wide variety of sports and recreational activities.
